Perfection stood head held high as she watched Marci leave her in this enclosed place with two horses she knew as Miracle and Sugarfoot. The black mare snorted nervously as she pawed at the ground unsure of what she should do she had never really been good at making friends nor did she really want to. Perfection didn't see why she even needed to be here she liked it in the warm cozy stall where she didn't have to were this "thing" around her body and then these things around her feet were so annoying.
A loud whinny echoed out and Perfection glanced up to see the two gelding starting to walk toward her. Putting her ears back she stopped her back leg as a warming and took a step to the side as she glared at them coldly she didn't really trust anyone here she just wanted someone who was her gender so she could talk girl things. She was pretty sure though this afternoon she was going to be put in with another horse but she still would rather be in the safety of her stall.
As the two horses grew closer Perfection reared up onto her hind, the black mare pawed the air throwing her head up in anger and dropped to the ground and charged both the geldings. Sugarfoot was surprised and pinned his ears back. The gelding turned and kicked at Perfection before running back to safety with Miracle who just shivered and ran. Perfection snorted with victory and threw her head up, you could really say she was wilder then a wild stallion.
Trotting back with triumph the mare stood between the second paddocked fence and the gate letting out a loud whinny calling for someone to come and take her back to her stall. Throwing her head up in annoyance she didn't know why no one would come and let her in. It was so different here and she liked some of it and hated some of it to. She hated being out here with all these things wrapped around her body, being let out last, not being fed first, and a lot more.
Perfection put her ears back unhappily and then glanced over to the second paddocked to where other horses where but she didn't really care what they did she just felt like watching. They were all stallions she guessed by there small and look but soon Perfection lost interest and turned back to watching the barn with angry eyes. "COME GET ME YOU STUPID PEOPLE!" Perfection snorted and smashed a hoof down onto the sandy ground.

Diverse Illusion I'm waiting for the night drifting away On the waves of my dreams to another day I'm standing on a hill and beyond the clouds The winds blowing still and catching my doubts
Deathly Gunsmoke Feel it comin' in the air, And the screams from everywhere. I'm addicted to the thrill, It's a dangerous love affair.
Bravado snorted as he picked his way through the grass. It was longer here, down by the hedge at the back of the field. The long emerald strands tickled his long dark legs, causing him to snort and squeal and fly away. The wind picked up his mane and tail so they billowed like ribbons in the wind, long and soft as velvet. He'd grown up outside, having been put out to grass practiaclly all day every day until Leo had started the full-on training. Now he only got to come out at certain times, normally just the morning. He loved it, the freedom, the taste of the morning air, the cool feel on his ebony coat, the slow rise of the dormant sun over the horrizon. Yes, this was life.
Bravado tossed his crania and reached, picking his front pistons up to strike the air playfully, his powerful hindquarters holding him up as he shook his head and whinnied into the fresh morning air. Usually, he was put out with two other stallions, one other a black known as Kalona, and the other not known to him yet. He'd already had run in's with Kalona, who had become a sort of role-model for the young lad. He was a firm stallion, mighty, powerful and stubborn, and would foten reprimand the lad like a cranky old man, but sometimes, he'd teach and tell Bravado things, like he'd taken it upon himself to show the younger stallion the world. Bravado respected him. Right now, he was out, being ridden appartantly, and the field was all to himself. Bravado snorted and returned his forelegs to the ground hitting the grass at a trot and surging into a canter, tearing up the grass as he flew across the field and slid to a halt at the paddock fence, snorting and breathing hard from exertion. Alert and interested, he paused to watch the goings on in the opposite paddock.
Meanwhile in the paddock the next to the stallion's, a kindly grey mare grazed peacefully. Her dapples shone silver in the morning light, her soft feathery tail slapped gently against her flanks, whipping away the flies that rested there. She was not supposed to be out this early, however her owner Leo, had put her out early for a change, and she was enjoying the peace.
Oblivion snorted and glanced up from the ocean of green she was crunching. Her light honey optics caught sight of the spirted black stallion that was her son. She smiled gently as she saw him take off and shook her head. He was growing, and no more the young and innocent creature. She was glad Leo was taking him on so readily, he would be a handful and she loved Leo to no end. He was a definate good guy. As Oblivion lowered her head to snatch at the cool grass again, she heard a noise from the paddock opposite her and Bravado's paddock, and swung her head round fully to look at the three horses opposite. Two geldings and a mare. The mare was supposed to be grazing with Oblivion on afternoons, but so far Oblivion hadn't even spoken to her. Prehaps it was time to. The grey mare picked her way across the field at a steady trot to come to a stop by the fence, close to her son.
Bravado bearly glanced at his mother as she approached, instead he watched with curiosity at the young mare opposite. As she bellowed out, he grinned and laughed mockingly. " Ha, theya ain't gonna turn up, no matter how loud ya yell. " He told her, slightly sarcastic. He snorted and moved closer to the paddock fence until his broad chest bumped the wood.
Oblivion sighed and shook her head at her sons remark. " Bravado, be nice!" she reprimanded lightly, before she drew closer to the paddock fence too. She moved to the right also, so that her right side touched the fence sperating hers and her sons paddocks. She lightly stretched out her neck and bumped her nose on Bravado's ebony side in affection and warning.

Black ears folded back against the young mares skull as she took a step back to look at the horses who had came to disrupt her peace and her trying to call to her dumb owner so she could sit in her warm stall. Perfection snorted as she glared at the large young stallion in front of her, good thing they were separated by a fence or she would have kicked him for that. "If ya 'ave nothin' nice ta' say, keep yer trap shut, boy." Perfection snorted, throwing her head slightly as she glared at the stallion.
Turning to the mare Perfection let one ear fall slightly forward as she looked over the big Iron/dapple grey and took another step back, they were so big. A sudden shift and a snap of a twig close to Perfection startled her a bit and she smashed her front feet on the ground and stepped back. "What was that?" She mattered mostly to herself as she looked around. Perfection was pig eyed so she had less of a few of everything to her sides so she startled a lot more then other horses, especially since she use to be abused.
Taking a shaking breath Perfection lowered her head slightly but she was still very tense. Glancing back up at the other horses she eyes them carefully taking in the other mares large profile and buffer built, she was more of a power jumper. Perfection on the other hand was skinny and little but still a solid built, she was more of a speed jumper and pretty darn good too. She jumped a clear three feet no problem but could defiantly go higher if she pushed herself to but Perfection just would rather relax and do nothing right now. She didn't care what everyone else thought.
Waiting, Perfection stood her ground still unsure of the other horses she didn't really understand why Marci wanted to her socialize, no one liked her and she didn't like them. It's not like they'll understand what she had to go though, having whips snapped at her well jumping forcing her over. Dark eyes filled with sorrow as she just stood there, her narrow slightly thin body shifted as she picked a foot up and stretched it a bit.

Bravado listened carefully, cocking his light audits forward to catch her soft words. Her voice more a lullaby when she spoke gentler, and it surprised him. Snorting, Bravado took a step back, giving her more space, though it prehaps looked a stupid thing to do seeing as she had that whole field to get away from him if she wanted. Odd, how she didn't bugger off if she disliked them both. Odd how she spoke back, gave them her name. Prehaps she was lonely? Bravado snorted quietly and mentally shook himself. She was probably playing him, playing them both. Better to get out now before he was burned. But he couldn't. She compelled him.
" So you have a name. Nice. Does'nt really seem to suit though, does it. " He teased, his voice much softer now she seemed to have lowered her defenses a little. He didn't care about pushing it. He could stick up for himself, and his last words where such more joking, a lot kinder than before, and it was evident that her mood changed his. Weird how a mood could change someone...
" But seriously. They don't come. They only turn up when they wonna. But ya'know, it's much funner out here if you give it a chance. Forget the cold and the wet, have some fun. I should know. I used to be like you. " He gave her a knowing nod, serious all of a sudden, older looking than before. And he did know. Sure, he'd been brought up outside. But once he'd found the comforts of a stable, he'd loved it. Yet being outside wasn't that bad. He would show her, if she let him ...
Oblivion nodded to Perfection lightly, smiling as she gazed upon her. Now the mare had given her name, she seemed a little less nervous, less defensive. Oblivion knew that female horses where outnumbered here, but she didn't have a problem with the stallions or the geldings here. To her, the geldings where respective and calm, good companions. The stallions where as ever, stallions. Cheeky, full-on and always wanting something. But they where good, protective and caring. Oblivion had already been bred before, and she would be happy to do it again. She knew Leo had more plans with her and breeding one day, prehaps when her eventing career was over, prehaps when it was near it's end. Who knew. But she craved female company, and prehaps she could befriend this mare.
" Bravado's right. It's nice to be able to enjoy the outside. Sometimes, indoors can be so hectic but out here if you give it a chance, the quiet can be peaceful company. " Oblivion spoke gently her soft voice turned the words to a song. She smiled at Perfection again, but did not say much else. If the mare wanted to talk, then she would talk. If not, Oblivion wasn't going to prod and poke her. Instead, she listened to her son speak. He was becoming such a wise lad though his sarcasm did let him down at times. She was proud of him.

Perfection rolled her eyes at the stallion's reply and snorted nervously as she looked behind herself and then turned back to face them. Perfection didn't really trust the stallion she could see he was joking but she didn't like it at all. Then again Perfection wasn't very found of anything but when you're abused with no one to turn to you usually end up hating everyone and not trusting them either.
As I watched the stallion I knew he thought I was being mean but I wasn't trying too be mean I just came off that way. I took a step forward to catch the other mares words and started to calm down a bit now. I hesitated for a moment as I looked from Bravado to Oblivion and then down to the barn jump hoping Marci would come and collect me but she still wasn't coming. Turning my small black head back toward them I snorted nervously. "Perfection..." I muttered unsure about what I was doing. Tail smacked a pesky fly away and I looked away from them nervously.
My ears shifted slightly back as I listened to hooves clicking behind me and I glanced over my shoulder to see Sugarfoot and Miracle chasing each other playfully and I just turned my head away ignoring it. I wasn't much of the playful type right now and mostly because I wanted a female friend not a male friend. Then again I knew why Marci put me in here she wanted me to get use to geldings and stallions because she wanted to breed me. I wouldn't mind a foal but I wasn't sure I was ready for one.
